Our Services

Boarding

DRTA offers full boarding to those who wish to have their horses in the finest care. Full Board includes but is not limited to the following:

• Twice daily feeding of high quality Feed
• Daily Strongid C2X Wormer
• Ad lib hay (as much has as necessary to maintain healthy and accurate weight of horse)
• Fresh water in clean buckets
• Daily turn-out in grass pasture or pasture with round hay bales. In bad weather horses will be turned out in indoor arena to stretch and exercise.
• Hosing off in the summer months
• Stalls cleaned daily with fresh shavings added when required
• Farrier and Veterinarian scheduling
• Administration of medication if required

Training

DRTA offers several training packages to meet your needs.

• One month full training (5 rides per week) $395.00
• One month partial training (3 rides per week) $195.00
• Single training ride (60 minutes) for exercise $45.00
• Single training ride (30 minutes) for exercise $35.00

DRTA also prides itself on starting and finishing young or problem horses. Prices vary for breaking babies and dealing with specific problem horses. Please e-mail or call with details to get a price for these services.

 

Lessons

Riding Lessons are available from beginner to advanced. You may also trailer in your own horse for lessons if you like! DRTA has lessons horses for dressage, hunter/jumper and eventing.

Students are required to take a minimum of 1 hourly lesson per week, group or private. Once a student is able to show, they are required to take a minimum of two lessons per week to show. The following information is a guideline only.

• One hour private lesson - $50.00
• One hour group lesson - $40.00
• ½ hour private lesson - $40.00

Students are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes early to their lesson to groom and tack up.

We try to limit group lessons to 3 or 4 riders. The only time more riders are in a lesson is if we are preparing for a show, and extra lessons are fit in for students at the same level of showing.
